In 2005 the HW WAF group had the opportunity to visit China for the 5th International Workshop on Adaptive Optics in Industry and Medicine. The conference was hosted in Beijing for 1 week, but Heather and Clare decided to do a bit of globe trotting and add 2 weeks of traveling to their trip.
